Description :
As a school science lab equipment supplier, Science Lab Supplies manufactures and exports the Wimshurst Machine, an apparatus within our Electrostatics range used across secondary school, higher secondary and undergraduate physics laboratories.
A charge is generated by revolving the two plates in opposite directions.
The charge is then collected and stored in the jars and discharges by the adjustable electrodes.
The device generates high voltages for electrostatic experiments.
Science Lab Supplies Voltages of up to 160 kV and sparks 80mm long are possible under ideal conditions.
The jars can be isolated from the system.
