The flexible and elastic heating elements ensure close contact with the flask surface and even distribution of heat over the entire surface. In case of spillage, the solvents will either evaporate or escape through the drain holes provided under recess. High thermal insulation of glasswool backing the heating elements minimises the heat losses. Every flask recess is provided with a pilot lamp and a regulator or toggle switch.
