Description :
A medical student is training to become an emergency physician. They are using a vaginal culdocentesis training model to practice performing the procedure on a patient with a suspected ruptured ectopic pregnancy. The model is positioned in a lithotomy position, and the student is using their hands to palpate the fornices. Once they have identified the posterior fornix, they insert a needle into the pouch of Douglas and aspirate fluid. The student then examines the fluid to see if it is bloody, which would be a sign of ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
Feature :
Soft and elastic skin, accurate anatomical structure, realistic lesion tissue
Correct puncture operation can extract red fluid
Incorrect operation may penetrate into rectum and fluid extracted appear to be yellow
Incorrect operation also may penetrate through from both sides and damage other organs
Instructors and lab coordinators use the Vaginal Culdocentesis Training Model to deliver clear, repeatable demonstrations, making it a dependable choice for science departments building out their teaching resources.
